WOODS & BOOKS is based in the heart of Nottinghamshire, the home of Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest; a place of woodlands, myths, folklore and legends.
A small and independently-run online business, it is a place to come to find old and new books, vintage treasures and locally made gifts.
Though we mainly sell online, you might sometimes find our trade stall at events at Sherwood Forest.
We will stock the very best of modern nature writing alongside older pre-owned titles, out of print, hard to find and antique books. Our vintage treasures have been hand picked on our travels around the country, our crafts made with love and our candles hand poured with care using the most natural and sustainable materials. We will be adding to our collection regularly as we grow.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON BUYING OLD BOOKS

We sell many vintage and antique books, some of which were written over a hundred years ago, and anything in between. The old books in our collection are mainly non-fiction nature books - BUT - books written in a different time may contain content that is problematic for a modern audience. If you buy a book from us and it contains anything that you are uncomfortable with - words, phrases etc - please email me on woodsandbooks@gmail.com and I will send you a free returns label to return the book to us for a refund of the price you paid for the book. Please note - the book must be returned in the condition in which we sent it to you in order that we can refund.
