When candles were the only way to light the home, wealthy households kept their oils, wax and candles in a room called a Chandlery, often with a chandler employed to take care of the illumination of the household.

As well as book collecting, we've been making candles for a number of years; we love the golden comforting light cast by candle flame, especially while curled up with a good book.  We specialise in clean burning, pet & vegan friendly unscented soy and rapeseed wax amber glass apothecary jar candles and clear cup tea lights. We also make beautifully scented wax melts in house. Our Chandlery range also includes various accessories, both vintage and new.
